La Hacienda Hotel
The rooms at La Hacienda open up to a central courtyard. The courtyard is abundant with large tropical plants and blooming flowers. There are chairs to sunbathe in and small thatched ranchos where guests can escape the sun. A two-level swimming pool centers the courtyard and offers up a beautiful place to cool off. There is a small waterfall feeding into the pool and a host of lights that make the water appealing during the evening.
The main building is decorated with Spanish colonial architecture — red-tile roofs, stone walls, and large wooden doors. Inside is a dining and lounge area. Here is where guests will eat their morning breakfast and relax with conversation later in the evening. Upstairs guests will find a small library to borrow books from.
The hotel's five rooms — each of which is beautifully and simply adorned — are nearby. All have tile floors and a private hot water bathroom. Air conditioning keeps them cool while a mini fridge allows guests the convenience of being able to store their own food and drinks. In addition to these rooms there are two cabins. The cabins have their own porch, kitchen, and rancho area.
