Where it is
The hotel sits on a hilltop above Santa Teresa and Malpaís, with sweeping ocean views. The access road is steep gravel, so a 4x4 is best if you’re driving yourself.
What the villas are like
There are six villas and a 360-degree junior suite, each with its own name, from La Ola to Yin Yang. Villas have a king bed, a sofa bed, air conditioning and soundproofing, so you sleep well even when the surf is loud.

Pool, food and downtime
The infinity pool is the star, looking straight out to the ocean. Breakfast is served at the restaurant, which also has a bar for sunset drinks, and you can stay for dinner without leaving the hill.

Getting here
Santa Teresa and Malpaís are at the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula, a long way from either international airport, and the last climb up to the hotel is steep. With an Anywhere private transfer, your driver meets you at arrivals with a name sign and brings you here in a modern air-conditioned van. Up to an hour of stops is included.
