Couples, especially, plus remote workers and small families who can take the family villa. The hotel’s earlier website listed a minimum check-in age of 18, and the current one doesn’t say, so confirm the policy before booking with kids.

The hotel is beachfront in central Santa Teresa, with direct beach access through the restaurant. The shops and cafés of town are a short walk away.
What the villas are like
The villas were built with sustainable local woods and are spaced out through the garden for privacy. Each studio has a king bed, a full kitchen, a work area and a terrace.

- Family Villa: two master bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen, for up to four.
Pool, food and downtime
The shared pool sits in the garden near the beach. UMA, the on-site restaurant, is run by a Mediterranean chef, and there’s a bar for sunset drinks. A 24/7 concierge, daily cleaning and parking round it out. The hotel also hosts weddings.

Getting here
Santa Teresa is at the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula, a long way from either international airport. With an Anywhere private transfer, your driver meets you at arrivals with a name sign and brings you here in a modern air-conditioned van.
