Where it is
The lodge sits on a garden hillside in Santa Teresa, set back from the main road, about 200 m (650 ft) from the beach. That’s a short walk for a morning surf check or a sunset swim.
What the rooms are like
Rooms, suites and bungalows are scattered through the gardens and linked by paths. Most have a balcony with hammocks, and the bungalows add a kitchenette. Nearly all have their own partly open-air bathroom, where the shower faces the sky.

Pool, yoga and downtime
The big pool is the social hub, with ocean views and plenty of room for laps. Classes run in the Jungle Yoga Studio a few mornings a week, and the lodge can set you up with surf lessons. A free light breakfast starts the day, there’s a bar and restaurant on site, and a shared guest kitchen if you’d like to cook. Need to check in with work? There’s a co-working area.

Getting here
Santa Teresa is at the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula, a long way from either international airport. With an Anywhere private transfer, your driver meets you at arrivals with a name sign and brings you here in a modern air-conditioned van.
