The accommodations here are simple but sufficient. Tile floors and ceiling fans keep the indoors cool, while a hot water bathroom offers up a pleasant way to clean up after a day in the sand. There are both one bedroom and two bedroom options, which are set with double beds, trundle beds and a couch. These can sleep up to six people.
Guests will enjoy the ability to cook and store their own food, especially when considering the top-rate fruit, veggies and fish that can be purchased locally. The kitchen area is small but has a refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, and coffee maker. A small breakfast bar adjoins this, offering up a nice place to eat meals or do a crossword puzzle, and just beyond this is a living room. The entire place is decked out with images of the Monarch butterfly, a large blue creature that enjoys widespread fame throughout Costa Rica.
There are several communal hammocks that overlook a secluded beach. These provide guests with an awesome spot to read, relax or nap. The owners of Villas Monarka are friendly and capable of answering any questions that guests may have.
